About VOD Keeper
A small tool for people who watch a lot of live streams and keep losing the good stuff afterwards.
Why it exists
I collect esports match VODs. Even when I'm watching a match live, I want to be able to come back to it later — to rewatch a play, or to send someone the exact moment it happened.
The problem is that Twitch past broadcasts usually disappear after about two weeks. By the time you go looking for the match, the link is gone. VOD Keeper saves the moment while the stream is still live, then tries to upgrade it to a permanent link — a Twitch video that the streamer kept, or the YouTube upload — with your timestamp attached.
See how it works for the step-by-step version.
Who made it
VOD Keeper is made by Juho "Azhrak" Nieminen, built with Lovable as part of the Lovable Assembly Fixit campaign— a challenge to build something that fixes an annoyance you actually have. This was mine.
It's a personal side project, not a company. It's not affiliated with Twitch, YouTube or Assembly.

Your data
VOD Keeper stores your saved moments and, if you connect it, your Twitch account link. Nothing is sold or shared.
You can clear your saved moments or delete your account entirely from your profile page.
